Gornley, William - Root Cellar
This arched cave is built into an embankment to the east of a wood frame house that is apparently abandoned. It is well hidden from all directions other than straight on. It has a unique entrance that is very narrow. Unlike many in the relatively near vicinity, This cave is made from a more rough hewn stone. The interior is currently being used to store old chemicals and paint. It opens to the south via a single door and is approximately 14’(L)x7’(W)x 6.5’(H).
